While in Anacapri we visited the extraordinary church of San Michele. The 18th-century church is built on an octagonal Greek cross floor plan, and its floor of majolica tiles, dating from 1761, depicts the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. You can walk all the way around the floor on a raised platform and you can also climb up a circular staircase to the organ loft to get a view of it from above.
