On the way to Lugano today we stopped in Bellinzona. The city is famous for its three castles:
Castelgrande,
Montebello,
and Sasso Corbaro.
The city also has its fair share of interesting buildings.
And an impressive church.
Next we visited the village of Sonogno where the houses are made of stone with slate roofs.
And a short distance away was a beautiful waterfall.
Continuing on to Lugano we stopped to admire this interesting bridge.
The water flowing under it was unbelievably clear.
