Our excursion today was to the Beaujolais area. On the way to a winery we stopped in the picturesque village of Oingt (pronounced "Waa" not "Oink"!!!).
This was a typical wine makers house with storage under the stairs for the wine.
A glimpse of the countryside....
We visited the Domaine du Bois Pothier winery.
These are the owners. The winery has been in their family for six generations and has existed since the 13th century.
