We were off to Austria again today to visit the Juppenwerkstatt in Riefensberg where the traditional Bregenzerwälder costume - the "Juppe" - is produced. It is an amazing costume which includes a pleated dress with beautiful silk and gold embroidery and a gold crown.
There is also a beautiful piece of gold bobbin lace which covers the seam on the back of the bodice.
On the scenic drive back we stopped at a lovely church in Sonntag.
