The ship stayed overnight in Bergen and we started the day with a factory tour of one of Norway's historic gold and silversmiths, Arven, a Bergen-based company that has been producing fine jewelry and interior design pieces for more than 150 years. It was quite interesting to see the massive machines involved in metal working.
This was my favorite piece - it is a salt cellar. After the tour we walked through the fish market on the waterfront.
They also sell ready-to-eat food.
And sausages made from moose, elk, and whale (!!).
These buildings are across the street from the Market.
We got back to the ship just in time for Tea.
